Although strategies and measures taken to address climate change are different in each country, there do exist similarity that every country utilizes the approach of model analysis to evaluate CO2 abatement policies, either to project the greenhouse gas(GHGs) emissions from energy consumption, and/or to formulate mitigation policies. Except the projection of GHGs emission based on the latest economic prospect and policies, the tasks of this project include: (1)draw the master plan of model application on the evaluation of GHGs abatment measures to make results more information contained; (2)assess the optimum GHGs abatment target and measures in power sector by viewing from the sustainability; (3)build the methodology by case study on the eavaluation of project-based GHGs abatment investment; (4)compiler the results from past scenarios analysis, to make them more informed.
